Portrait of the Ten Peaks
There is no place more iconic in the Canadian Rockies, or in Canada, than Moraine Lake. The alpine lake boasts a wild turquoise blue color, fed by glacier melt and set against the backdrop of the Ten Peaks. It is challenging to find a place more majestic and awe-inspiring than Moraine Lake. The scenery is truly astounding, and the tranquility of the location envelops you. The image captured here at sunrise will stay with you for a lifetime. I climbed up the rugged hill of stones to reach this viewpoint, which was bustling with photographers trying to capture the essence of this iconic lake. As snow started to descend, the atmosphere became truly magical. The experience of standing on top of the world to create this image is one I will never forget.
