Vivien’s Biography

Fine Art Photographer, Nature Lover, Traveler

Vivien Cheng, born on a tropical island and raised amid towering skyscrapers in a concrete jungle, who found solace in nature, was particularly captivated by a photograph of Lake Louise in Canada. This fascination led her to embark on a journey to witness its majestic turquoise waters firsthand.

Retirement from the corporate world unveiled Vivien's passion for photography, sparked by the joy of documenting her travels digitally. Each photograph, to her, encapsulates a fleeting moment, an irreplaceable memory.

Amidst the pandemic, Vivien seized the opportunity to delve deeper into her craft, transitioning from a "point & shoot" camera to her first DSLR, a Canon Rebel T6i.  Under the guidance of a local professional landscape photographer, her skills flourished, igniting a fervent passion for capturing the beauty of western Canada's landscapes, from the unique scenes in Alberta to the breathtaking Canadian Rockies.

Sharing her images on social media, Vivien discovered the immense joy of connecting with others and sharing her experiences. Her ultimate aspiration? To convey the essence of these special moments through her lens, narrating stories that evoke the emotions she felt firsthand.
