The May weekend solar storm gifted us with a breathtaking display of the northern lights (aurora borealis), the most vibrant in two decades. Our journey to Canmore, Alberta, for this celestial event exceeded all expectations. As the clock struck 1:40 AM, the chill of the night air served as a reminder of the four and a half hours we had spent capturing the mesmerizing dance of colors in the sky. Despite our fatigue, we were utterly captivated, unable to tear our eyes away from the celestial spectacle unfolding above us.

Conveying the sheer magnificence of the northern lights through photographs alone is a challenge, even in their raw form. To truly appreciate its beauty, one must witness it firsthand.
