The Rock

Crescent Lake in Lake Clark National Park, Alaska, is a breathtaking, untouched paradise ideal for fishing and bear viewing. The sunrise casting its rays on a massive boulder in the lake provides a perfect subject for my photography, complemented by the rich textures and colors of the mountain slope in the background. During our visit, we experienced a magical blend of rain and sunshine throughout the day, with stunning rainbows appearing as a delightful bonus. There is something truly special about capturing photos in the rain; it creates a unique ambiance and mood, transforming the landscape and telling a different story altogether.
